Black Eyed Peas Pull Out Of Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

The Black Eyed Peas are out of this Saturday’s big Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales.
Show organizers say the band, whose hits include “I Gotta Feeling” and “Let’s Get It Started,” have been forced to withdraw from the show due to “unavoidable circumstances.”
Nonetheless, Chris Hunt, chief executive of Global Live Events, believes the concert will be a “fantastic evening,” despite the Peas’ absence.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Black Eyed Peas will be unable to perform at this Saturday’s Michael Forever event. It is with regret that we announce the removal of Black Eyed Peas from the Michael Forever bill, but I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists. The event is really getting into gear and is going to be a fantastic evening for all.”
Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Leona Lewis, and Cee Lo Green are still on the bill for Saturday’s Michael Forever Show at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium. Pregnant songbird Beyonce will make a video appearance. The show is not affiliated with Jackson’s estate, but his mother Katherine and other relatives are scheduled to attend. Organizers recently rescinded an offer to KISS due to newly singer Gene Simmons’ past criticism of MJ.
